A Lunch Worth Thinking About (open)

[Hiroyume Okunake]

Lunch came quicker than expected, but Hiroyume Okunake quickly warmed up to the idea, her stomach rumbling. Lunch time was perhaps the only time all the grades were able to meet, so she anxiously rushed into the cafeteria, naively thinking her brothers would welcome her...

And, of course, that wasn't the case. Shinku and Odame were nowhere to be found, and Hiroyuki was in his own clique of friends, ignoring Hiroyume, so she thought it best to...not interfere. Something about Hiroyuki was warning her not to go to him, anyway, although she really couldn't pinpoint it..

So Hiroyume hurried to the line and marveled over the things she could buy, weighing one against the other and wondering which ones she would be able to eat during her lunchtime. Right now, that westerner hamburger did seem very delicious...

This was the one place her dear babies was not allowed, so Princess waited outside the lunch room. Marshmello was back at home. She had come in her to simply get food, and then hurry out to escape the crowd of people and spend time with her old dog. It was rare to even see her in here. She usually packed her own food, but Marshmello had ate her lunch for today.

Filing into line, she found herself behind the doll like girl from before, who seem to be having trouble picking. Trying to be patient, shuffling on her feet, she eyed the menu too. All of it sound so rich and fancy....made her stomach turn. Couldn't they have something simple? or at least, something that a pre-commoner would know.

Hiroyume scoped the menu until finally she decided that a hamburger was the best choice. Then something in the corner of the menu caught her attention, and she stepped back to see if she could perhaps see it better from a distance. She looked behind her to see if she had caused an inconvenience behind her, only to learn that Kazeko, the boy she had seen earlier in the Rose Maze, was right behind her.

"A-Ah, Kazeko Soshina, good afternoon!" she greeted him. "Oh, you're here to eat! Do you like anything here?"

Kazeko was suprise to see this girl even greeting her. After all, she still saw her as a complete stranger...and....the fact this chick remember her name made her feel nervous, for she had completely forgotten her. "um...good afternoon" she said in response, rubbing the back of her head "um....the menu? not really, but my dog beat me to lunch so I have to buy something here" she explained

"I see, it's out of necessity," Hiroyume responded, nodding her head to show she understood. "I've been here a few times but I never know what to buy..." She looked at the menu, then at the cooks, and then wondered what the people ahead of her were getting. Perhaps that was being a bit too rude, though.

"I'll definitely stick with the hamburger, though," Hiroyume said. "It sounds like a really quick meal, and I've heard rumours that it's pretty tasty. Westerners are famous for their complexion; perhaps food contributes to that, huh, Kazeko Soshina?"

"Yes, that's what I'll be getting." After thinking it over for a while, Hiroyume was absolutely sure she wanted that hamburger. Patiently she waited online, ordered and when she received the hamburger, she couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. It didn't look very appetizing.

"What are you going to eat?" Hiroyume asked, and then realized she had accidentally lost the boy somewhere. Oops.
